This is the fifth and final season of NBC’s series, “New Amsterdam,” which is inspired by Dr. Eric Manheimer’s memoir, “Twelve Patients: Life And Death At Bellevue Hospital.” In the series, actor Jocko Sims plays Dr. Floyd Reynolds, the head of the cardiology department.
If Jocko’s handsome face looks familiar to you, it’s because he’s been on over a dozen of series, including our faves, “Crash” and “The Last Ship” and has been seen in “Dream Girls, “Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes,” and more. In the one-on-one convo with Right On!’s Cynthia Horner, Jocko got into a lot of topics, including whether or not he can save lives, why he opted out of going to medical school, how he feels about “New Amsterdam,” and how he keeps his grooming on point.
