Just Awful: Young Dolph Gunned Down

It has been widely reported by news sources that  Memphis recording artist Adolph Robert Thornton Jr., aka Young Dolph,  was shot and killed in front of a local cookie store on November 7, 2021.

Although there’s no specific motive for his murder, we hear police in the area are on high alert, hoping to prevent additional tragedies.  In any event, this is a sad day  for his fans  as  he was  an inspiration to fledgling artists. The hip hop star  had been looking forward to giving back to  residents of his community during the week of Thanksgiving.

Horrified friends are starting to post tributes on social media.  Sports legend Deion Sanders commented, “Lord help us as a people, stop the hate, the violence and the hopelessness. When we realize we matter others will as well.”

During his stint in the record industry he released seven studio albums and was featured on the O.T. Genasis song, “”Cut It.”  According to TMZ, the 36-year-old recording artist  leaves behind two children.

Right On! Digital wishes to express condolences to the late Young Dolph’s family and friends.
