WME presented a special screening of QUEEN & SLIM in Los Angeles. Following the screening, actress Janelle Monáe hosted a Q&A with writer Lena Waithe. Other notable attendees included actress Gabrielle Union, basketball player Dwyane Wade, actor Terrence J and actor Damson Idris. The film, which is the story of two people who form a bond as they become fugitives, is reminiscent of films like ”Thelma and Louise” and “Set It Off.” It opens November 27, 2019.
