Nipsey Hussle’s memorial service took place on August 11, 2019 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. His grieving girlfriend Lauren London offered a glimpse into his life during the funeral which was streamed live @BET.
“We know what Nip meant to us. We lost an incredible soul. We lost a real one. We won’t ever be the same, but in Hussle’s words, ‘The game is going to test you, never fold.’ What’s in you, they can’t take away, and he’s in all of us. I’m so grateful that I had you.”
