Chances are you may have seen 11-year-old Kai Ture’ in a commercial, on a television series or even a movie, but over the next several months, Netflix, Amazon and the big screen will give audiences multiple chances to see the young actor showcase her talents alongside some of Hollywood’s heavyweights.
A working actor since the age of seven, Kai Ture’ began her career by capturing that often elusive dream of some aspiring actor’s when her role as a series extra during season one of the OWN/Tyler Perry series, “If Loving You Is Wrong…” was elevated to a principal recurring role as “Tanesha” in Season 2. Since that time, Kai Ture’s body of work has grown to include appearances in series and movies such as “The Vampire Diaries” (2015), “Bad Dad Rehab” (2016), “Faith Under Fire” (2018) and more.
This year, Kai Ture has amassed a number of films set for release where she will be featured with top Hollywood talents. Among them are the critically acclaimed comedy, “An Actor Prepares” starring Jeremy Irons (August 31, 2018), the film adaptations of the highly popular books, “NappilyEver After”, starring Sanaa Lathan (September 21, 2018) and “The Hate U Give” starring Amandla Stenberg (October 19, 2018) as well as the comedy “Troupe Zero” starring Viola Davis and Mike Epps, slated for a 2019 release.
