This deeply relatable track for anyone that’s found themselves in a “situation-ship” incites not only a check-in on the relationship’s direction but also a personal check-in on where we personally want to be.
Kelly’s sultry vocals whisk listeners in and out of moments of vulnerability layered throughout the song, as she asks us all to commit simply being present in any situation or emotion, no matter how severe or jarring. Shot in black and white, the visuals show Kelly in interrogating conversation with her partner, the audience, but more importantly…herself.
