On Saturday September 26th, the historic Jamaica Performing Arts Center will host the 10th Annual SITA Awards in the heart of New York City’s most diverse borough…Queens. Since the inaugural ceremony in 2016, the SITA (Success In the Arts) Awards has celebrated the contributions of talent in the areas of film, radio, television, music, theatre fashion, and more. Founded by multi-talented author, director, playwright/producer Dara J. Bragg. The highly anticipated gala recognizes both global icons and emerging talent on the same stage.
In 2021, the SITA Awards had the absolute honor and privilege of creating The Meli’sa Morgan Singing Sensation Award with the singer’s blessing. The classic soul legend, who is a Queens native, attended the ceremony to present the first award to the recipient that year.
