DC has released the official trailer for the upcoming horror thriller Clayface, directed by James Watkins. The film will be released exclusively in theaters on October 23, 2026.
Starring Tom Rhys Harries in the title role, Clayface follows Matt Hagen, a Gotham street kid whose meteoric rise to Hollywood stardom is tragically cut short after the actions of a local crime boss leave him horribly disfigured. Abandoned by those around him, Matt turns to a cutting-edge treatment that miraculously restores his appearance but begins to distort his grip on reality, sending him down a destructive path fueled by revenge.
The film also stars Naomi Ackie, David Dencik, Max Minghella, Eddie Marsan, Nancy Carroll, and Joshua James.
Directed by James Watkins from a screenplay by Mike Flanagan and Hossein Amini, Clayface is based on characters from DC and is produced by Matt Reeves, Lynn Harris, James Gunn, and Peter Safran.
