Over 3,000 attendees gathered for a star-studded afternoon featuring a special performance by Tyrese and matches by the Morehouse Polo Club and Atlanta B.E.S.T. Academy Polo Team
ATLANTA, GA — September 21, 2026 — The 9th Annual Atlanta Fashion & Polo Classic, presented by the Miguel Wilson Collection and the Ride to the Olympics Foundation, wrapped up its landmark event this past weekend, raising approximately $30,000 in vital funds for youth equestrian initiatives while bringing together culture, luxury, and high fashion at Bouckaert Farm in Fairburn, GA.
More than 3,000 guests attended the signature experience on Saturday, September 19, marking one of the largest turnouts in the event’s nine-year history. Celebrations kicked off on Friday, September 18, with an exclusive welcome party sponsored by Ben Crump Law at The Westin Atlanta Airport Hotel before moving to the scenic polo grounds on Saturday for gourmet cuisine, signature cocktails, and competitive polo matches.
The centerpiece of the athletic competition featured thrilling play from the Morehouse Polo Club, the nation’s first certified HBCU polo team, and the Atlanta B.E.S.T. Academy Polo Team, the country’s first all-Black high school polo team registered with the U.S. Polo Association (USPA). The event also hosted an international match against a visiting Nigerian Polo Team.
“Even after nine years of doing this event, we honestly did not expect to receive as much support and excitement as we received this year,” said Miguel Wilson, founder of the Atlanta Fashion & Polo Classic. “It means a lot that people took the time to come out and be with us. This means a lot not just for me, but also to the kids that we support.”
Entertainment across the main party tents reached a high note with a special live performance by singer, songwriter, and actor Tyrese, who captivated the crowd with his signature sound.
The high-profile gathering attracted an impressive star-studded lineup of celebrities and public figures, including former Atlanta Mayor and Georgia gubernatorial candidate Keisha Lance Bottoms, entertainment mogul Mona Scott-Young, television personality Toya Johnson-Rushing, Grammy Award-winning producer Bryan-Michael Cox, actors Lamman Rucker and Terri J. Vaughn, television personality Mimi Faust, legendary radio personalities Big Tigger and Kenny Burns, television host Portia Bruner, news correspondent Guy Lambert, celebrity photographer Derek Blanks, and Pastor Jamal Bryant.
Proceeds from the $30,000 raised directly support the Ride to the Olympics Foundation, empowering youth in underrepresented communities through access to equestrian sports, leadership development, and ongoing funding for the Atlanta B.E.S.T. Academy polo team.
“Our mission is to expand our support for the youth polo teams we’ve established while building new teams across the nation,” Wilson said. “Over time, our goal is to create a national competitive circuit of youth teams competing against one another, opening doors to life-changing educational, athletic, and career opportunities.”
