From a friendship bracelet to “I do,” Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s romance has become one of pop culture’s biggest love stories. Following their recent wedding, here’s a trip through memory lane to back at the milestones that took the couple from their first connection to the altar.
Their story began in July 2023, when Kelce attended Swift’s Eras Tour stop at Arrowhead Stadium. After the concert, he shared on his New Heights podcast that he had hoped to give Swift a friendship bracelet with his phone number on it but never got the chance. The story quickly caught fans’ attention and, as Swift later revealed, eventually caught hers as well.
Dating rumors began in September 2023 when Swift attended her first Kansas City Chiefs game and watched from a suite alongside Kelce’s mother, Donna. Although many fans assumed it was the couple’s first date, Swift later shared that they had already been spending time together privately before making their relationship public.
The following month, the couple fueled even more excitement when they were photographed holding hands after appearing on Saturday Night Live. In November, Swift gave Kelce a memorable shoutout during an Eras Tour show in Buenos Aires by changing the lyrics of her song “Karma” to reference the Chiefs before greeting him with a kiss backstage after the concert.
