So Lit: Books That Will Make You Think

Right On! Digital offers authors opportunities to express themselves. Great lit can make a great last-minute gift! Unless otherwise noted, books are available through Amazon.

Giving the gift of reading a good book is the best gift of all. Snuggling up with a good murder mystery this winter with an Amazon’s #1 Bestseller, “The Twinkle Box” by Author Larry Pye is a good choice.

The Twinkle Box is a must-read! It tells the story of an engrossing psychological murder mystery loosely based on a true story. The Father character is a charming, abusive, sadistic sociopath who could easily be your next-door neighbor. You will be intrigued by the deeply complex characters, each with a tragic backstory. When you step into this dark world of romance, suspense, and terror, you might want to leave the lights on. Yet through all the madness, a valiant hero emerges, and the chilling and graphic contents of the Twinkle Box are revealed.

Pye is a Retired Probation Officer who teaches Anger Management and Life Skills. Pye has written his debut novel, “The Twinkle Box”.  Despite the dark subject content, the book deals with romance, overcoming hardships, learning to trust, and the beauty of friendships. Pye states, “There’s a story behind every person. There’s a reason why they’re the way they are. Think about that before you judge someone.”

We need to stop viewing reputation and credibility as “soft skills” and start treating them as high-leverage, measurable assets. I realized that traditional networking was a waste of time because it prioritized transactional, surface-level exchanges over building a supportive ecosystem aligned with a profound purpose. We’re going to dive into the core idea that underpins all high-level advancement. We are discussing the unseen currency that unlocks every major professional door.”
