In the spirit of the holidays, Dave Tolliver, known to many as a member of the 90s recording act, Men At Large, decided to bless us by taking us back along memory lane with this incredible song. Here’s the backstory of “Just Like Christmas,” which he pulled from the crates.
Listen to “Just Like Christmas” here:
Tolliver recalls, “This song was written and arranged by me. The track was done by J Dub of the Hitmen. It was part of a collaborative album called “Christmas At My House. The album also featured Musiq Soulchild, Kut Klose, The Rude Boys, the late Angie Stone, and a host of others. ‘Just Like Christmas’ is not only a song for the holidays, but love, when it’s good, is JUST LIKE CHRISTMAS! When love is real, it’s the gift that’s keeps on giving all year round, but the feeling it gives is Just Like Christmas… waking up on Xmas morning with the gift you have been craving, yearning for and hinting about all year!”
