BIA’s winning streak continues just in time for the peak of summer with the release of her new single, “One Thing.” The new, AzizTheShake & Hidde-produced track marks her second single of the year, following the May release of WNBA anthem “We On Go.”
“One Thing,” a tropical jam for the summer where BIA’s dependable pen and euphonic delivery take centerstage, makes for one of the Massachusetts-bred rapper’s most confident performances to date.
When asked about inspiration for the record, BIA mentioned “This song is my ode to Lauryn Hill. Thank you for raising the frequency for all the women & generations to come.”

The video for “One Thing,” also available now, is a dazzling feature, directed by BenMarc. BIA paces the vivacious affair with the beautiful island of the Bahamas as her backdrop, as she prances with and socializes with the natives of the popular Caribbean vacation destination, producing her customary smirks and can’t-miss outfits along the way.
BIA’s confidence and effervescence is earned. Her diligence over the last few years, which has produced multiple hit singles and partnerships with the WNBA, NHL, and Apple. has helped fan interest in her grow from intrigue to obsession. BIA’s development as an artist and a burgeoning mogul has advanced at a similar pace.
Recently, she’s only added to that pace. Ever the multi-faceted artist, BIA performed this at a slew of events during WNBA All-Star this past weekend. She had a huge presence at the festivities in Indianapolis starting out with her debut television performance of “We On Go” at Good Morning America and rounding off with a lively a pre-game performance of the of the competition-friendly hit song during WNBA player introductions.
If there’s “One Thing” to know about BIA, it’s that she’s constantly pushing her ceiling skyward. Stream[5] her new single today.
