We gabbed with two of the stars of Uppercut, the new Lionsgate thriller starring Ving Rhames (Mission Impossible franchise, Pulp Fiction), Luiii (Leberhaken, “His Daughter”), Jordan E. Cooper (“The Ms. Pat Show,” “Pose”) and Joanna Cassidy (Blade Runner, Who Framed Roger Rabbit). The film is directed and written by Torsten Ruether (Leberhaken, “His Daughter”).
Basically, the thriller centers around a female boxer who is being trained by Ving Rhames, whose role is to mentor her in her quest to break down barriers in a tough, competitive field. Formidable Jordan E. Cooper, who plays a pivotal in the drama, joined Right On! Digital’s Cynthia Horner for an incredible pair of interviews in support of the feature film.
