The glittering lights of Las Vegas shone even brighter this past weekend at the ARIA Resort & Casino where the Hip Hop Grandmaster Awards celebrated its second annual ceremony. Hosted by the Paid in Full Foundation, the event paid tribute to significant figures in Hip Hop, namely Grandmaster Caz, Roxanne Shante, and Kool Mee Doe, honoring their indelible impact on the music and culture.

This star-studded event came alive with the presence of celebrities like Flavor Flav, E-40, JaVale McGee among others, and was vibrantly hosted by Terry Crews.

A focal point of the ceremony was the dynamic series of dialogues and performances, including a fireside chat by legendary artist Fab 5 Freddy, immersive conversations and spirited performances across the board from Rakim, DJ Jazzy Jeff, and Doug E. Fresh, solidifying the night as a memorable celebration of artistic achievement.

Founded by philanthropists Ben and Felicia Horowitz, the Paid in Full Foundation aims to support unheralded artists, providing financial stipends and acknowledging those whose influential contributions deserve spotlight. The honorees were selected by a robust lineup of past icons and dignitaries amplifying the foundation’s commitment to community and recognizing voices pivotal to the genre’s fabric.
