(PICS) Celebrating Creativity: “You Make the Bag” Lights up Times Square

In an unusual twist on fashion, the brand YOU MAKE THE BAG introduced its groundbreaking approach during the New York Fashion Week, bringing a fresh vibe to the iconic Times Square. Inspired by a simple yet profound philosophy, ‘YOU MAKE THE BAG, THE BAG DOESN’T MAKE YOU’, this fashion brand unveiled its first-ever handbag collection amidst a series of attention-grabbing events on September 4th.

The day was marked by a ‘Street Fashion Show’ breathing life into common trash bags, transforming them into fashion statements in the heart of the city. As evening fell, the scenery shifted to luxury with handbags decorating the bustling sidewalk of Broadway crossing 45th Street; farmes by lights, music, and alive with the buzz of hundreds of onlookers.

Behind the unusual visions stands Dana Hicks-Hungerford, the pioneering CEO who sees the line between trash bag and treasure as razor-thin. As she displayed her haute couture at the subsequent Ashleigh Renee Fashions event, Dana graced the runway herself under the sparkling twilight of the industry spotlight. Of note, Dana extends heartfelt thanks to her seasoned cohort which includes supportive husband Brian Hungerford and a collaborative band including names like Darryl Roberts, Cornita Cole, and wielders of media magic such as Supa Coop and Dymond Scoby.
