Jamie Foxx has finally cleared the air on his health scare back in April, where he was suddenly hospitalized for an undisclosed medical emergency.
He says that he didn’t want to give any sudden updates since he wanted his fans to see him “laughing, having a good time, partying, cracking a joke, doing a movie, television show” compared to seeing him “with tubes running out of me and trying to figure out if I was gonna make it through”.
He also debunked rumors that his illness left him blind or paralyzed and says he “went to hell and back” and simply thanked all his fans for their support and the love that they gave him. “I just want to say that I love everybody, and I love all of the love that I got… If you see me out from now on and every once in a while I just burst into tears, it’s just because it’s been tough, man. I was sick, man. But now I got my legs under me, so you’re gonna see me out.”
