Travis Scott’s Giza Pyramids Show in Egypt has been cancelled due to complex production issues, days right before the event was planned and refunds will be made to all ticket holders.
The show was already considered to be unpopular in Egypt due to concerns regarding “strange rituals” that will be conducted or performed during the show and Egyptian social media users called the event to be cancelled but Scott was adamant on having the show go on. Egyption union leaders also cited the Astroworld tragedy where 10 concertgoers died due to asphyxia from crowd surges and listed it as a safety concern for the event not to be held.
