The 2023 BET Awards took place on June 25th in the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles and celebrated fifty years of hip-hop culture and artists. Drake received the most nominations with a total of seven and the legendary Patti Labelle paid a special tribute to the late Tina Turner.
