Ralph Rolle is a master percussionist with over 35 years experience in the music industry and has made music with many notable names such as Nile Rodgers and Chic, Sting, Bono, Aretha Franklin, The Notorious B.I.G., Queen Latifah, Chris Botti Erykah Badu, D’Angelo, and India Arie just to name a few. He also plays for the resident band of NBC’s “It’s Showtime at The Apollo” for over 15 seasons and started his “Soul Snacks Cookies” back in 1996, where the original recipe has a deep and rich history dating back to the early 1900s from his maternal grandmother, Leola. She was born in Ocilla, Georgia, and moved to Miami to start a family to which they finally settled in Harlem during its revered Renaissance years.
His company offers a large variety of different flavored cookies like “Georgia Oatmeal Raisin, Peanut-Peanut Butter, Down Home Double Chocolate Chip, Ebony and Ivory Almond Cookie, Grampy’s Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookie, and the recently added novel and now the number one seller that is the rant and rave of all those who taste it – Sweet Potato Cookies”, along with many more. He also notes that ““Inside of every cookie is years of heart, soul and lots of pride that has been the main ingredient of Souls Snacks Cookies for decades.”
Soul Snacks Cookies now sell all across the world, from the United States, to places like Canada, Europe, Africa, Japan and the West Indies. They are also available in over one thousand Walmart and Kroger’s locations, with Walgreens soon joining them.
