Disney+ dropped an invigorating trailer and Key Art for their new Star Wars show “Andor” last week, a new original 12-episode series from Lucasfilm. The show will take place a few events prior to the movie “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” and will release on September 21st, with a three-episode premiere.
The series will feature Cassian Andor played by Diego Luna, as he journeys on a turbulent path against the rise of the Galactic Empire, to which he will eventually become a Rebel legend. The cast also features Genevieve O’Reilly, Stellan Skarsgård, Adria Arjona, Denise Gough, Kyle Soller and Fiona Shaw and will be executively produced by Kathleen Kennedy, Tony Gilroy, Sanne Wohlenberg, Diego Luna and Michelle Rejwan, where Tony Gilroy is the show’s creator and frontrunner.
