Global music phenomenon The Weeknd has announced that he is collaborating with Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights to create a haunted house based off of his “After Hours” album. The frightening attraction is said to feature “all kinds of ghoulish figures, including a face-carving slasher, bandaged maniacs, a grotesque mannequin masquerade” and much more. The Weeknd is also the first musician to work with the theme park, as he “always wanted my own Halloween Horror Nights as Halloween has always been significant to my music, so this is a dream come to life.” He adds “that his music videos have served as a launching pad for a collaboration like this and I cannot wait for people to experience this madness!”
The tickets are now all on sale at Universal Orlando Resort which will start on Friday of September 22nd and there’s no confirmation if The Weeknd will make a surprise appearance, but that possibility has not yet been ruled out! Check out the announcement video for the event below!
