Season three of “High School Musical: The Musical: The Series” will premiere on Wednesday, July 27, 2022, on Disney+ and we can’t wait. This time, it’s set at Camp Shallow Lake, a sleepaway camp in California. The Wildcats and their fellow campers are primed for an unforgettable summer ripe with romance, curfew-less nights and a taste of the great outdoors. With a high-stakes production of “Frozen” on the horizon AND a drama-filled “docu-series” of the production, the Wildcats will attempt to show who is “best in snow” without leaving anyone out in the cold.
Right On! Digital took time out to chat with one of the cast members who plays Kourtney. What is interesting is that actress Dara Renee is the daughter of Right On!’s Cynthia Horner’s friend, actress Kimberly Brooks, an alum of Hal Jackson’s Talented Teens International Scholarship Competition. The contest, which was held for four decades, gave young minority women an opportunity to display their gifts with the world, thanks to the late Hal and his wife Debi Jackson. We had so much fun in our quick convo, and for more, follow us on TikTok @rightondigitalofficial and IG @rightondigitalofficial.
