Floating to the forefront of pop culture on their own terms, buzzing alternative pop duo BETWEEN FRIENDS—Brandon and Savannah Hudson—release the official video for their latest single “orange juice” today via 10K Projects.

“When creating ‘orange juice’ we wanted to write a song that was as colorful as possible,” say the duo. “Lyrically the song touches on making the ultimate unexpected fantasy out of something as simple as a comedown from a night out. Pairing this with sonics reminiscent of cartoons and a groove made after listening to a lot of D’Angelo’s ‘Voodoo,’ we hope that the song will take you on a small mental trip.”

“orange juice” follows their previous single and video “more” and paves the way for their anxiously awaited new cutie EP, arriving soon. They personally announced the project on social media followed by a tracklisting reveal. Check out the full EP tracklisting below. This summer, BETWEEN FRIENDS will perform their first-ever live show at Governors Ball in New York on Friday, June 10.

Born in Florida and based in Los Angeles, BETWEEN FRIENDS have quietly emerged as an enchanting and entrancing alternative force. Brother and sister duo, Savannah and Brandon Hudson, credit their growth to their formative years, where they spent every minute of their free time experimenting with all aspects of music. From singing and performing to production and photoshoots, they relied on each other to master their craft and create art, forming a DIY mentality that they continue to tap into. From their 2018 we just need some time together EP, featuring breakout track “affection,” to their 2021 mixtape i like when you shine!, BETWEEN FRIENDS have amassed nearly half-a-billion streams, cultivated a community of over 2.4 million Spotify listeners and garnered praise from the likes of Billboard, PAPER, Office Magazine and OnesToWatch. Now signed with 10K Projects, BETWEEN FRIENDS tackle 2022 with their upcoming EP cutie, starting with singles “more” and “orange juice.”
