The 31st annual Gotham Awards returned to their pre-pandemic glory Monday, November 29th. The Gotham Awards are the first of the season’s awards programs and a harbinger of Academy Awardsâ, Golden Globes and Independent Spirit Awards hopefuls to come. The awards were held at the prestigious Cipriani Wall Street in downtown New York City, with a full red-carpet gala and over 700 celebrities and industry VIPs in attendance. The event was webcast live on Facebook.

Robert Hall wines returned for its fourth consecutive year as the official wine sponsor of the Gotham Awards, offering the attending stars Robert Hall’s family of Paso Robles, CA wines through the pre-cocktail and dinner ceremony, a renewed in-person opportunity to toast and cheer nominees and award winners. Faison said of his win, “This film was made with such passion, commitment and honesty, and gives the message that our society needs to hear right now. I’d like to thank Morgan Freeman and Lori McCreary from Revelations Entertainment for jumping in and picking us up when we needed to be picked up.
