2Pac’s friend, Shock G/Humpty Hump, has passed away at age 57 of a suspected heart attack, and the hip hop community mourns his passing.
Born Gregory Edwards Jacobs, the front man of Digital Underground, rose to the top of the music scene with such songs as “The Humpty Dance” and 2 Pac’s hit single, “I Get Around.”
Back in 1995, 2Pac, who was once a member of Digital Underground, commented, “I look back [on my times with Shock G] with the greatest fondness. Those were like some of the best times of my life…” –
