22-year-old singer, songwriter, actress, model and activist Paris Jackson releases her first full-length album, wilted [Republic Records].
Get wilted HERE.
Co-written and produced by Manchester Orchestra’s Andy Hull with engineering and instrumentation by Manchester Orchestra’s Robert McDowell, these eleven tracks stitch together hurt, healing, loss, and love carried by hazy vocalizations and a patchwork of earthy alternative folk. The lead single from the album, “let down,” recently debuted to widespread critical applause.
Other stand outs from the album include “eyelids” which pairs stark piano with powerful lyrics as she urges, “tear my heart out, so the feel of that memory is gone…now i don’t know your name,” offset by Hull’s understated vocals.
Check out music video, which was executive produced by Eli Roth and directed by Meredith Alloway. (Editor’s note: Not necessarily suitable for younger audiences.)
