Emcee N.I.C.E. explains that the station dubbed R&P, Gospel’s R&B is different from other gospel music outlets. “Here, you’ll be able to hear a Jor’Dan Armstrong do a ‘90s R&B inspired song for God and hear from Christian Hip Hop artists that sing. That’s essentially what’s going on in a lot of these records coming out,” he says.
Grayson says R&P Radio will be an excellent compliment to their successful Christian hip hop station GH3 Radio. “We continue to elevate the CHH market and now we’re going to expand the R&P space,” she says.
