On July 23, 2020 The Power of Girls Organization will be kicking off The GRL PWR Summit. The summit was created to help the girls prepare for a “new normal” of going back to school, maneuvering in these unique times and most importantly to inspire girls to continue to be their best self. As the Founder, Tameka Kee was brainstorming on new initiatives to create that would motivate the girls, she realized creating this summit would become a great space for girls to gather now that they are operating in a virtual world. There will be various topics discussed each day and the summit is packed with some power house women such as Tamera Young (WNBA player & Entrepreneur, TV personality), Veronica Cope (Gwinnett County State Judge Elect), Danielle Evans (Nike) and Kimmie Gee (Lead dancer for Beyoncé) and some alum of The Power of Girls Organization.
Thursday, July 23- “Finding My Lane” (Career Panel)
Friday, July 24- “Girls Night with The Power of Girls”
Saturday, July 25- GRL PWR (The Summit)
Sunday, July 26-”Self-Care Sunday”
The goal is to give girls a platform to learn, listen, have a space for discussion and also have FUN! The summit is curated for girls from 6th-10th grade.
