(Watch) Parody of Beach Boys’ ‘Wouldn’t It Be Nice’

Humor is one of the only ways to get through the sad times the world is going through. Watch this light-hearted parody video Vân Scott made of  The Beach Boys’ “Wouldn’t It Be Nice” while being quarantined at home with his parents, sister, and two dogs in Thousand Oaks, CA.   They had a lot of fun putting this together!

About the concept of the video…

Vân Scott says, “I started making the video at the time President Trump had announced Easter as the date for returning back to normal.  I wanted to make this because, like everyone else, the news has been making my family and I scared, anxious, stressed, and depressed. I had a very strong desire to break that tension. So, this is my attempt to bring a much-needed laugh to us and to everyone else as a reminder that we’ll get through this and to #stayhomestaysafe.”

About the location and making of the video…

“We didn’t go much further than the driveway because we wanted to set a good example for staying at home. I don’t have a high-quality camera, so we all took turns filming each other on my iPhone X, using a selfie stick! I also edited the video myself using some film editing software. We literally kept everything ‘in-house,’ haha.’”
