Right On! Digital is saddened to report that the iconic NBA ball player Kobe Bryant died on January 26, 2020 when the helicopter in which he was traveling crashed. His 13-year-old daughter Gianna and seven other passengers perished as well, when the helicopter went down in Calabasas, Ca. Eyewitnesses reported seeing smoke through a haze of fog. The names of the other victims have not been released.

The basketball great’s sudden death at age 41 is a shock to the sports community as well as to fans worldwide. He leaves behind his wife Vanessa and three daughters. The sports figure was a philanthropist and recently hosted a screening of the Michael B. Jordan film, “Just Mercy,” at a theater in Baldwin Hills, Ca, which was co-hosted by Terrence J.
