The upcoming original film explores the tumultuous life of the former lead singer of the 70’s R&B/Funk Band Switch, also the eldest sibling of the world-famous pop group DeBarge. Despite his success in music, the iconic falsetto found his life in peril as he struggled with fame and fortune while coping with the memories of his dysfunctional childhood. Directed by veteran radio and TV personality, Russ Parr, the film stars Roshon Fegan as Bobby DeBarge (Shake It Up, Greenleaf)Tyra Ferrell as Etterlene DeBarge (Boyz In The Hood, White Men Can’t Jump)Adrian Marcel as James DeBarge (Recording Artist), Big Boi as Berry Gordy (Grammy Award-Winning Artist, Idlewild, ATL) and Lloyd as Gregory Williams of Switch (Recording Artist). “The Bobby DeBarge Story” is set to premiere Sunday, June  29, 2019 on TV One.
