In an intense one-on-one convo with Right On! Digital Publisher Cynthia Horner, young Percy Daggs IV discusses Season 2 of the Emmy nominated Hulu drama series “Paradise” with Sterling K. Brown, which debuted February 23, 2026. His portrayal of “James Collins” just earned Percy an NAACP Image Award nomination for Outstanding Performance by a Youth (Series, Special, Television Movie or Limited-Series).
And, on November 20, Percy will be co-starring in The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping. He will be taking on the pivotal role of “Ampert Latier” — fan favorite Beetee’s brilliant son and a tribute from District 3.
This handsome actor previously starred opposite Academy Award winner Halle Berry in the Lionsgate psychological thriller Never Let Go, directed by visionary filmmaker Alexandre Aja (The Hills Have Eyes, Crawl). Percy portrayed “Nolan,” one of two twin brothers whose bond with their mother is their only protection against a mysterious evil threatening their family. His captivating performance earned him his first NAACP Image Award nomination for Outstanding Performance by a Youth in a Motion Picture. On television, Percy held a recurring role in Apple TV+’s limited series “The Last Days of Ptolemy Grey,” where he played the younger version of Samuel L. Jackson’s titular character.
