The Living Legends Foundation, Inc. (LLF) will host its 2025 Annual Awards Dinner & Gala for the first time in Atlanta, Georgia on Friday, October 3 2025, at Flourish by Legendary. Hosted by Skip Cheatham, Executive and Program Director, D.L. Hughley Show. the evening will start with a red carpet and cocktail reception at 6:30 p.m., followed by dinner and the awards at 7:30 p.m. The night will celebrate honorees each representing a different facet of music and entertainment, advancing the mission of the foundation to advocate for and recognize exceptional achievement in Black music and media.
“In this ever-changing industry it’s important to recognize and salute the men and women of color who sit in the corporate suites of the entertainment industry. This year’s honorees represent a cross generational class of those individuals,” said David C. Linton, Chairman of the Living Legends Foundation. “We are excited to bring this event to Atlanta Ga, which has been a mecca of black culture for decades.” It’s the home of the first black owned radio station, WERD, Jack The Rapper, once the biggest black music convention, and of course the home of two of the most culture shifting music companies, LaFace & SoSo Def Records.
Since 1991, The Living Legends Foundation has long served as the premier advocate for diversity, mentorship, and recognition within the music, radio, and entertainment industries, cementing an enduring legacy. The Annual Awards Dinner & Gala continues to serve as a premier must-attend event, drawing important figures from all over the world.
Living Legends Foundation reaches a historic milestone. For the first time in its 34-year history, six women will be honored for their remarkable contributions to music, media, and broadcasting. The 2025 honorees are:
